Every spring, the Future of Florida Summit (FOF), hosted by the Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida, brings together 70 students from universities and colleges across the state in Gainesville for a collaborative public policy experience. Over the course of the Summit, participants work in teams to research, analyze, and develop innovative policy proposals addressing pressing issues facing the Sunshine State.

2026 FOF: Designing Tomorrow: Florida’s Growth and Development Summit

This year’s Summit, Designing Tomorrow: Florida’s Growth and Development, took place from Friday, January 30, 2026, to Sunday, February 1, 2026. We brought together students from across the state to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping Florida’s future. Participants examined pressing issues such as infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and cultural preservation while collaborating in teams to develop innovative public policy solutions. These proposals were presented at the conclusion of the Summit and evaluated by a panel of judges.
