2026 Future of Florida Summit

Designing Tomorrow: Florida’s Growth and Development Summit

Every spring, 70 students from universities and colleges across Florida are invited to Gainesville, where they work in teams to develop a policy solution addressing growth and development in the Sunshine State. Content and policy experts are also invited to participate in the Future of Florida Summit (FOF), offering their advice and networking with students.

This year’s FOF Summit, Designing Tomorrow: Florida’s Growth and Development, will bring together students from across the state to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping Florida’s future. Participants will examine pressing issues such as infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and cultural preservation, while collaborating in teams to develop innovative public policy solutions. These proposals will be presented at the conclusion of the FOF Summit and evaluated by a panel of judges.

The 2026 FOF Summit will take place from Friday, January 30, 2026, to Sunday, February 1, 2026.
