Thank you for your interest in serving as the 2025 Future of Florida (FOF) Summit Chair. The application to serve as FOF Chair is open to any currently enrolled, full-time, degree-seeking UF undergraduate or graduate student who has previously attended FOF.
Applications are due at 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 24. In-person interviews will be held on the week of March 25.
The Chair is responsible for the long-term planning of FOF and works in collaboration with the student organizing committee and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service. Together, they develop the public policy focus of the Summit and produce the weekend-long event.

Chair Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with the Graham Center faculty and staff to produce the 2025 FOF Summit, including all necessary logistical and fiscal items. Specifically they will work with the Graham Center’s associate director and the immediate past char, who will serve as this years co-chair.
- Reside in Alachua County for the 2024-2025 academic year. Preference given to applicants who will be UF students during the 2025-2026 academic year.
- During the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters:
- Meet weekly with the co-chair and Graham Center associate director
- Lead regular meetings with the organizing committee
- In coordination with the associate director, conduct a spring kick off and training meeting.
- Conduct (2-3) summer planning sessions to develop the FOF timeline and major deliverables for the fall semester.
- Oversee the selection process of the organizing committee
- Establish a budget for the Summit
- Prepare a final report on the 2025 Summit for review by potential donors and Center staff and faculty
- Serve as Past Chair for the 2026 Summit and assist in organizing all related activities
